News Division

News division is made of News desk and reporting. All the news items are here edited and prepared here for printing. The news desk edits all the news items received from reporters of different parts and beats. The reporter gathers news from the spot and sends them. The subeditors edit the reporters copy. Finally the concerned editors under the supervisor & news editor the reporters copy. Then the news is prepared for printing.

Editorial Division

Simply, the editorial department is responsible for prepare and edit editorial, post-editorial, column, opinion, feature and articles. The main goal of this department is to give the readers or audience a wide and different view about the event. Janakatha editorial department consists of assistant editor, editorial assistant, staff writer and feature editor.

Computer division

This divisionmakes the news composed and ready for printing. It offers all sorts of technical help to the journalists to make and edit the news. It also up-dates news on the website.

Advertisement Department

Advertisement is the key income source of any newspaper. Dainik janakantha has an advertisement department. While most members of this department are salespeople, creative services may also be here. The main responsibility of this department is to handle the advertisement related matter. Their department tries to provide the better service to their customers.
